Not anymore, it's not. That's been replaced by a sponsor section for Sylvania.

But seriously, the Electrical Parade just doesn't belong at the California Adventure. There was a time when the park did have the parade, Fantasmic AND the fireworks at the same time, in the mid-1990s.

really? I thought it still cycled through A California Classic, thanks for the correction. I think it might be the park guide that still calls it that. i'll have to double-check.

but that was also a time when you didn't have hundreds of thousands of APs. I think the last number reported was like 800,000+? :lookaroun the park has gotten more crowded over the past couple of years. i'm sure it could be done.. but the park can manage without the parade imo

Im sure World of Color will be played year round, similar to the fireworks(though the shows themselves keep changing), and Fantasmic!(unless its down for refurbishment).

I hope wherever the electrical parade is that they keep updating it to be more and more like Dreamlights in Tokyo. They got the music, now they just need the look!

Happy to hear it's coming back! I wonder if it will use the shortened parade route again? With the walls constantly changing, it's hard to keep track of where the parade will go.

I am thinking DEP Should move back to DL due to WOC. That would balance out the crowds a little as DEP returning to DL would be a huge deal with the fans not to mention that would give DL a real parade. DCA does not need to have DEP on top of WOC. I feel having the parade there will only make the crowd control worse specially with all the construction going on.

Once F! comes back, that would mean there would be 3 major nighttime events happening all around the same time. :eek:

Crowd nightmare.

I'd put the parade in DCA until when WoC opens, but then take it out until a lot of the walls go down and there is much more capacity.:shrug:

DLR will have 4 major night time shows Electrical Parade, Fantasmic!, Fireworks(RDCT, Magical, Halloween Screams, Believe),World of Color. Although some only play seasonally, it will be interesting to see the summer schedule and how these will be played.

Heavy line ups of entertainment is nothing new to DLR, here the line up for June 21, 1996.

Main Street Electrical Parade(8:50 and 10:25)
Fantasy in the Sky(9:25)
Fantasmic!(9:00 and 10:30
Lion King Celebration(2:00 and 4:30),
Festival of Fools(1:30, 2:45, 4:00, 6:15, 7:30)
The Spirit of Pocahontas(1:15, 2:30, 3:45, 5:45, 7:00)

course this was before the bigger firework shows came in though.

In Christmas 2005, DL presented POD(1 showing), ACF(2 shows), F!(2) and RDCT. As well as Snow White an Enchanting Musical. and DCA presenting Aladdin, HSM, DEP, and BPB.

Its just a rumor, the fact is for now Electrical Parade will return to DCA for spring break starting March 19th(unless things change). What happens after that is up in the air.

The other rumor says Electrical Parade would return to DL in the summer, though I think that ones been going for some time now.
