So we have to do Fantasyland instead now. And it has to include 'it's a small world'.

I think before we do anything we should choose a castle as that is the focal point of Fantasyland.

Castle? We could do:

-Cinderella Castle- With a restaurant and/or walkthrough

-Sleeping Beauty Castle- With the Dragon's Lair, Restaurant, and restaurant?

-Beast's Castle- We could have the best walkthrough for this castle and the Be or Guest restaurant

-An original castle with storyline that connects the park.... Maybe like a Disney castle like in Kingdom Hearts! That'd be great!

Does small world have to be innovative? I have a suggestion:

Use the AA's and effects used in Tokyo DisneySea's Sinbad ride. On the second floor of the ride, make a restaurant! There will be stairways leading to small dining rooms that are actually IN the ride! They could each serve food relating to that scene: Italian food for Europe, Mexican for South America, etc.

So, it's basically having multiple restaurants inside it's a small world. Kinda like how the Blue Bayou is in Pirates. This idea is also inspired from the window in the Pinocchio Village Haus that overlooks WDW's small world... a lot of people's favorite part of the ride is waving to the people in the restaurant.

Also, I'm gonna say right off the bat that we only do brand new rides for Fantasyland. No clones. Anyone agree? I mean we could use the new Mermaid attraction, but I don't see the point of using Peter Pan, Snow White for the eigth time in Disney park history. We could use:

-Little Mermaid
-Robin Hood Ride from Imagineer 2
-Sword in the Stone Ride from Imagineer 2
-Princess and the Frog Ride
-Mary Poppins ride
-New it's a small world
-Fantasia 3D show?
-Hercules Ride?
-Hunchback ride?
-Fairies 3D show?
-Mulan ride?
-Maybe an Ichabod ride
-I think we could do a Black Cauldron thrill ride (a mountain)
-Cinderella, Belle, or Aurora ride (depends on the castle choice, or all 3 if we do original castle)
-Possibly Dumbo, Carousel and Mad Tea Party...

What about a Shadowlands mini area with rides based off villains?

How about something on a massive scale... like this castle in Rapunzel...um.... Tangled.

I think this would be amazing and below it we could have a German-style Fairytale village a bit like the California and Paris Fantasyland's.

Underneath the mountain can be a large dark ride. In the Fairytale village I reckon we should have loads of new rides like Figmntal suggested... but I'd like to keep Peter Pan's Flight and Pooh's Hunny Hunt from Tokyo because they are both brilliant attractions. Also there should definitely be a carousel in the village.

Behind the castle there could be further sub-lands. Two ideas I had was Circusland which would include a Dueling Dumbos; and Fantasy Gardens, a whimsical area with flowers and trees and brick paths entwined with streams- a bit like Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival and Paris' Fantasyland. In this area could be It's A Small World (definitely outdoor queue area!), Mad Tea Party, Storybook Land and Alice's Curious Labyrinth.

A Shadowlands sub-land would work great here too, or something like Princess Gardens (similar to Fantasy Forest).

OR.....

We could divide Fantasyland into lots of different countries so have England (Robin Hood, Mary Poppins, Sword in the Stone, Pooh, Peter Pan), France (Hunchback, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty & the Beast), German (Snow White), Denmark (The Little Mermaid), Italy (Pinocchio), Greece (Hercules), and possibly even New Orleans for Princess & The Frog.

A bit.

Don't remove Peter Pan, re-imagine it.
We could use:
-Little Mermaid
The same as the new DCA/MK ride, no, different ride, yes.
-Robin Hood Ride from Imagineer 2
No.
-Sword in the Stone Ride from Imagineer 2
Perhaps.
-Princess and the Frog Ride
Yes.
-Mary Poppins ride
Ride? No. Show? Yes.
-New it's a small world
Obligatory?
-Fantasia 3D show?
Yes.
-Hercules Ride?
Depends.
-Hunchback ride?
No.
-Fairies 3D show?
NEVER.
-Mulan ride?
Yes!
-Maybe an Ichabod ride
But of course.
-I think we could do a Black Cauldron thrill ride (a mountain)
Gawd, yes.
-Cinderella, Belle, or Aurora ride (depends on the castle choice, or all 3 if we do original castle)
Sure.
-Possibly Dumbo, Carousel and Mad Tea Party...
No Dumbo = Not a Disney Park.

What about a Shadowlands mini area with rides based off villains?
Mini area, no.

This is also our chance to fix some of the errors that the Imagineers did with Fantasyland, such as removing Hook's boat as a restaurant. Then again, we can also have BRAND NEW stuff! Like a 3D show as equally as awesome as Philharmagic.

World Showcase Fantasyland Edition.
I love this idea.

So, are we doing all new rides and keeping the neccessities (Dumbo, Carousel) or doing the Fantasyland World Showcase thing? The only problem with that is that there are some rides that wouldn't fit. And I think England would be super crowded.

I think we should do a little village (depending on castle theme) around the castle, have a Fantasy Gardens (Fantasia 3D, Robin Hood, Pooh, Hercules, Small world, others...), Princess Faire (All the princess attractions), and Shadowlands (villain attractions and Black Cauldron thrill ride).

I wonder... but will it end up less whimsical this way, it may mean the architecture is a it limited?

Think about the expanded Fantasyland. Now remove everything.

Thats the space we have. I'm thinking that if we keep a theme of "Fantasies around the World"... we can go Disneyland-ish (different facades, different architetures) or Disney World-ish (who cares about different, everything is tents and facades).

Also, new brainstorming wave?

So, we're doing the World Fantasies idea? I'm trying to think how to divide it up so that some areas have five rides and others have one....

United Kingdom:
Mary Poppins and Peter Pan's Flight can be featured in a English town area with a restaurant and shop. The rest of the area would be woodland, featuring A 100 Acre Wood section, Merlin's Cottage w/ Sword in the Stone Ride, Alice In Wonderland, an old English castle houses Robin Hood, and at the end of the forest is a giant black mountain which houses the Black Cauldron roller coaster.

France could be a French village... I don't know how having both Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast would work unless neither of them have rides. Notre Dame church could hold the Hunchback ride. Cinderella could have the same deal she is getting in WDW, with the Tremaine estate. This area could use some work, or eliminating of movies....

I personally don't think we should include Pinnochio or Snow White, and there respective countries, what are your thoughts?

Greece could have the potential to be the greatest area of Fantasyland. I have my idea for a MYthia sub land in Fantasyland, featuring greek mythology. Obviously, a Hercules ride and maybe even a show could work here. And maybe a Hades underworld coaster? And the Fantasia 3D works great here.

I really want to include Ariel, she's a popular character, and her new ride looks awesome... but Denmark? I don't know about having Denmark being an area in Fantasyland. How about Scandinavia with an all-new Viking attraction.

Finally, why not a USA area? We could have Princess and the Frog, Pocahontas, Fox and the Hound, Rescuers, Lady and the Tramp, Dumbo, Bambi....?

The little mermaid is Danish and Copenhagen is beautiful so it would fit perfectly. I think Snow White & Pinocchio should stay just because then we could include Germany and Italy, which are two great countries. Also Bambi, is based on a Austrian story and if we wanted to make it really World Showcase-y we could even have a new version of the Matterhorn for Switerland. And we could definitely have Norway with a brand new Viking ride.

IF we are doing this then we should have England, France, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Greece and maybe we could have Shadowlands as a sort of creepy Russian medieval theme. I don't think the USA and China would work alongside the European fairytale theme. Although we could always have a New Orleans sub-land for the PatF and maybe even a Native American sub-land of Frontierland (with Pocohontas, the Lewis & Clark rapids ride etc.)

I'm also thinking that the castle be behind the new it's a small world, having the castle be sort of a compilation of famous European castles. The front area with the castle and small world could be like a World Plaza area or something.

We definitely need a transition from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland.... we should have a Circusland area in the bottom right corner of FL that has Dumbo and a Casey Jr. Coaster, which could lead to Autopia somewhat like how it does in WDW. Also, we needed somewhere to put Dumbo. :D

And should we arrange the areas the same way they are in the real world;

United Kingdom-France-Switzerland-Germany-Italy-Greece-Russia?

Denmark and Norway would be the Northernmost point of Fantasyland, with Russian Shadowlands being tucked in the top right corner of the park.

Or, a part of the Denmark section could be Tivoli Gardens, where Dumbo's Circus has come to town! We can have a carousel there too. Plus, I think Tivoli Gardens was Walt's inspiration for Disneyland, so that's just added magic.
