My wife and I too the behind the seeds tour last week because LWTL was closed. The cast members were going in and out the back door (harvesting eggplants) I just happened to peek outside. At my surprise I spied an original Sub from 20,000 leagues under the sea. I got a pict or two (will post soon)
The Cast member looked at me funny when I asked her If I could get the shot. But she let me.

just didn't expect to see that back there.

If I remember correctly, it has been used for decorative purposes for Pin Trading events and such at the World Showplace. I guess they didn't want to move it too far away.

Full size? From the ride, or the movie?

They used to have a model of the 20,000 leagues sub in the queue
for The Living Seas, it was beautiful! As I recall it was 3-4 feet long,
not sure if it was the actual model from the film or not, I suspect not.

Looking forward to seeing the pic!

It's not a full sub, just the top portion of one.
It used to be in the Special Effects tank at the Studios, but was later put on wheels to be moved around for special events.
It normally stays back there, behind the Land or Soarin's building.

IS that picture from an online map service?
