Funny story on Saving for Disney

I just had to share this story, I thought it was pretty funny.

The kids know we are trying to save up spending money for our next trip, so they see me list things on Ebay, hear me make comments like "Well that's some extra money for Disney", when I get some extra etc. Well, last night I was paying some bills and my DS age 9 asked what I was doing. I told him "Paying some bills, sweetie.". And he said, "But we need that money for our Disney trip!". LOL

I guess I have been going overboard talking about saving $$!! :hammer:

On another note, my DS age 6 was just looking through his WDW for Kids book, and he asked if we can go to Fantasmic tonight because he really likes that show! (plus he always asks how many days left, thank goodness for that new trip countdown)

Guess we all have Disney on the brain......

Any other cute stories about your kids geting excited about their next trip?

Unfortunately, we'll have to retire it after this trip, as the plastic is cracking and starting to split from the wear over the years. I shall miss it, as it has been around as long as I have.

NO! Take some pictures of your past trips, put them inside the coke bottle, then crazy glue the cracks and put it up somewhere as a rememberance and a Disney story starter. Every time you look up the bottle it'll brighten up your day!

There are pictures of the new Club Cool on another thread and it looks like they sell the large plastic Coke bottle banks you are talking about. Maybe you can buy another one and this way it'll be a bank from Disney to save money to go back to Disney.
