I have a couple that aren't hysterical but are fun to remember for me. They all actually happened when we went in August.

1.) At Ohana breakfast (highly reccomended) when we first arrived it was my best friend and I and we had a small table with 3 chairs. Well Chip sat right down with us. We had just purchased some pins for the lanyards my BF had purchased a holiday pin pack that had a Chip and Dale St. Patricks Day pin where they were dressed up like leprachans (sp?) Back to Chip he dumped out our bags and was riffing through our stuff, puling at the Fast Pass holders...and he saw the pin it was so cute, he tried to take it from her and was making a big scene of showing the kids at the table next to us like "that's me!" it was so funny. The kids next to us got a kick out of it too. [Which was good I think the one was a little afraid of the characters.]

2.) At the Animal Kingdom we had our pictures taken with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald [no line!] and when we got to Goofy he had a big time with us doing different poses like the "whassup" arms crossed and stuff. I must have 15 pictures of us with Goofy.

3.) I should have prefaced this post by saying I am like a kid at heart so when we went to the magic kingdom I felt the need to get a childs Cinderella crown (I looked for Snow White, but Cinderellas was bigger) and my BF got Tinkerbell. So we are in the park wearing them all day (I must have been asked 100 times if it was my birthday) and we waited to have our pictures taken with Capt. Hook and Smee. When it was our turn I pointed out that my BF was Tinkerbelle and they did this shocked expression thing where they stood back and were shaking their heads and finally when we took our picture they were fine but as we were walking off Hook like tried to take her Tinkerbell crown.

None of mine are especially touching or hillarious but the characters are always great even to "big kids" like us!

PS: Thanks Leota Nicole and Ryan for my daily tear.

I'm just going to be very disappointed if I can't find the following characters this time:

Donald
Stitch
Figment

I love the annoying ones the most. This is why I also like non-Disney characters like Beavis, Butthead, Spongebob, Family Guy, Simpsons. Spongebob being the most annoying character ever created, and it is great to watch it with people while drinking at college. I remember we watched the Spongebob Squarepants movie, Aladdin, and B&B Do America one night while drinking. I had a single room, and have a large computer kart complete with standard 19' rack and a 27; TV on it. Inside is home theatre equipment. We would just roll it down to the big lounge, grab the speakers, hook it up in around 5 min, and about 15 people would just chill out on couches. Most people on my floor grew up on Disney, WB, etc. I'd say the majority of the movies we watched were Disney / cartoons. The last one was the Family Guy movie, I brought it when I went to visit people who hadn't graduated this past fall.

I'm not 100% sure but I think Donald's Breakfast at AK & Chef Mickey's for dinner are 2 of the only places (besides the parks) to meet the duck. I was beside myself when we met Donald at CM's.

Awesome stories everyone! Yes Ryan, that is a very sad story. My fiance's sister's boyfriend is also visually challenged so it really struck me. Isn't it wonderful how the characters take the time to do these things for the guests? I agree with what he said about costumes... they're not costumes at all. They're characters! I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one with that point of view.

Ok, I have two.

The first one was on Valentine's Day at Chef Mickey's with my family. My olders sister, who is like 35 was video taping, and we were all playing around with Mickey. Then Mickey waved her to come get a picture so she handed the video camera to my bro-inlaw, and proceeded to walk towards him. WELL, she tripped over the camera bag and fell into Mickey almost knocking him off of his feet. LOL, The best thing, is that it is ALL on video lol.

My second one was during Star Wars Weekend with Jedi Mickey. Me and my buddy went to take a picture and pose with him, but the character greeter told us we could not do the "hear no evil, see no evil, hear no evil" with him so we just took a regular picture. After the picture was taken my friend was talking to the greeter about why we couldn't do it, but during that time Mickey's foot got stuck in the robe, and fell into the backdrop (Luckily holding himself up and not hitting the ground, BUT still made a huge noise). I then went up to Mickey and whispered by him, "You have all these Jedi Powers, but can't get your own foot out of your robe?" LOL, "she" laughed on the inside hysterically and snorted :)

LOL! I really like the second story! Would beb funny to make one of them laugh like crazy. I remember we had a town fair thing here, and someone was dressed in a cow costume for some milk company. My friend pinched the mascot's bum (after all it was a bull costume) and then she heard this angry voice say, "I'M A GIRL YOU TARD!!" It was one of my funniest stories with a mascot (other than my Pooh Bear story ;) )

On our first trip to WDW with the kids, we went to Epcot one day.Our daughter and son were so excited because they wanted to see Belle. So, at the France pavillion we see Belle and the Beast. The Beast came forward to greet our son, who then started running away from him. It was cute, though, because the CM kept trying to make friends with him, but Aidan wanted nothing to do with him. I don't think that he was expecting the sheer size of the Beast.
At the Cinderella's breakfast, he was very pleased because the princesses came over to see the kids. He had such a crush on Belle, and when she came up from behind him for a picture, he did not know she was there.
(picture of his reaction to finding out that Belle was behind him)

I forgot one. When we were at MNSSHP last October I got to meet Tarzan. Unfortunately Jane wasn't there (she arrived as we were leaving) but I got a little one on one time with Tarzan. Mmmm...loincloths....

Oh sorry...back to my story. As he was signing my autograph book he said "Jane teach Tarzan write name. Tarzan write name MANY times today." Then he gestured to some people that were waiting off to the side for other members of their party to get through the line, and said "People stand there watch Tarzan. People say nothing. Give Tarzan creeps." It was hilarous! I was so impressed at how truly Tarzan he was.

What a great Post I think I'll resurrect it.
I have many great character moments. The first moment is back when I was 16 and My brother and I road tripped drive straight thru for a long weekend at DLR. Getting to DLR at opening of the day we just parked and went in. My brother freshened up before we got into the park, from our 36hr road trip. I'm 16 and a little oblivious that I stunk. meeting up with the main man MM, he gives the you stink nose hold with me. My bother totally gets the picture. He then sprits me with colone, and MM gives a huge Mouse up along with a standing ovation from him and Donald. Laugh at it now, not so much then.
back in 98-99 my Wife then Girlfriend went to DLR. This was her first time, my billionth. DLR had started to have the M&G locations on top of the characters who would work and area. She suggests we do a M&G at a location. I go great we were next to Ariel's Grotto walked into the que. She meant pooh and friends, her favorite, I just figured she meant the closest. The entire 30 min wait she was passive aggressive about it, you just want to see a half naked 16 year old red head, so on. Someone must have tipped off the CM assistant, because when it was my turn and my wife was not going to be in the picture. Ariel hammed it up, being in my arms, telling me I was her new prince, am I going to marry her. I still tease my wife about running off with Ariel.
2016 DAK Raffikis Planet watch- I'm wearing this deep blue WDW shirt. We are getting a photo shoot with Rafiki, and he makes sure he points at my shirt and then turns around and point to his but which of course is the same color. This is day 2 of a 7 day trip. My 10yr old daughter is more than happy to keep bringing it up the entire trip.
I have tons of other charactor interactions, but it the three that will always stand out.
