We're still trying to figure out what we're doing in February - flying or driving. Personally I'd like to fly, but since we have to rent a car if we do, DH figures we should rent it here, then save our free SW tickets for another trip.

It's about 22 hours - mostly 95. We used to do it every summer, but I'm not crazy about it in the winter.....The thing is that DS will have Monday and Tuesday off from college that week too, so we figure we could stop and pick him up on the way, then he could fly back on Tuesday.

Sounds like a good idea, although you're right about the weather thing. February is so unpredictable, and I'd imagine even more so in New England. Still, it makes you appreciate Florida's temps even more.

There's nothing sweeter than sitting poolside in FL in February watching the Weather Channel and laughing at the New England weather!
