I liked it a lot! It had been so long since I read the book that I forgot a lot of things, but I went with a friend who just finished the book last week. Immediately after it was over she told me about everything that they changed and left out.....but I still really liked it!

I finished rereading the book right before I saw the movie, and I'm glad I did. The movie is definitely condensed, but still very good!

Yay! Glad you liked the movie. That seems to be the consensus. And I'm excited about the book too. Trying to see if I can finish HBP in the day and a half I have left. And I just started last night. :lookaroun

See, I think re-reading it right before hindered my liking of it the first time. B/c I was then comparing. Next time, I'm not reading the book right before. I'm just going into it with memory.

I'm going in the morning to pick up my bracelet for the book, then will return with my best friend later that night. We'd go earlier, but she has a softball game that won't end until like 10:30 or so. So, needless to say, that's not gonna work out too well, if we waited to get our bracelets.

It didn't hinder my liking it, but I can see how it could.
I missed seeing more of some characters and some of the things that were just left out. But at least I knew about them and could fill in some of the blanks.
