So...yesterday we were FINALLY able to go see Transformers. Now I had been looking forward to this since the first time I even heard they were doing to the live-action version over a year ago.
The first hour and 1/2 was AWESOME!!!! And then the fire alarm went off!!
At first we thought it was some cool effect of the movie (it was during a pretty climactic part). 
So we exit the theater into the parking lot. It ended up being a false alarm but we had to wait outside, in the heat, for 45 minutes. When they let us back in they told us that certain theaters would start where they left off and others would start from the beginning. Ours was from the beginning...and we'd already seen over 1/2 of it! :brick: So, whatever, we go back into our seats (theater was about 1/2 full of people) and wait for about 30 minutes. Nothing. So a few people start going out to see what's going on...THEY'RE NOT STARTING IT OVER FROM THE BEGINNING FOR ANOTHER HOUR!!! And nobody bothered to come in and tell everyone sitting, waiting in the theater. :fork: Needless to say, we took our "free movie voucher" and left. So, we now we don't know how it ends. :brick: :brick: :brick: :brick:

How did DS like the concert?
He loved it except for the guys seated above him who were throwing open cans of beer at people...
He didn't roll in 'til about 4 am.
Then yesterday he finally got a job!!!!

Tomorow we take him to Hofstra for orientation.

Hello all. Monday again. It feels SO WEIRD to not have any major projects to do, or cleaning to accomplish... I feel strangely empty...

It's actually at a local Christian camp. He and his buddy have been doing a lot of audio setups there, and the director happened to mention that they needed someone for maintenance there, so they offered him the job.He has to go fill out al the paperwork today, and I assume he'll start after orientaion.

A) Your new "major project" is to REST and RELAX
B) Nothing to look forward to??? You're having a baby in less than 2 months!!! A new life into the world and your family. I think that's a pretty big something to look forward too.
