Well, I certainly don't mind Disney straying from source material...look how far from the source "The Jungle Book" is, for instance...but this reworking of "Snow Queen" reads like Disney has taken a classic story and plugged it into the "Tangled" formula. Booooorrrrrinnngggg...
Since Magenta is, evidently, a panther and used to eating birds, I guess this crow is right down your alley?

Eh, what crow? I never said the film would be unsuccessful, nor did I wish it to be. I just wished it to be good. It isn't, but it's somehow struck a chord. I guess trashing all the best stuff from the source material and making a "Wicked with snow" movie worked for WDAS. And I'm thrilled at its comeback. But I wish it had happened with a better film.

Personally, I can't even look at the little plastic doll-faces from that movie without wanting to hurl. It's ironically hilarious that so many critics are hailing this film as being positive for females, when the two female leads look like Barbie dolls. Yeesh...

This weekend marks the debut of the sing-along shows, available in 2,057 of this week’s 2,754 locations, where a small snowflake bounces above the lyrics, encouraging the film’s many ardent fans to join in.
