hey guys - i just got back from houston watching Disney On Ice: Three Jungle Adventures (Jungle Book, Tarzan and Lion King). this was my first time to see anything 'on ice', especially disney. it was great! i didn't really think i would enjoy it, but it was awesome! - if you have a chance to see one in a town near you, i recommend it - frozen disney magic! (although mowgli's little diaper was a little too tight, and he was a little too old to be mowgli...) - i have pics - i am going to try and put them up tomorrow...

I just saw this last night. However I have been to several Disney on Ice presentations. I can truly say the Jungle Edition is by far the BEST ever.

This was way beyond the traditional Disney on Ice shows I have seen before. It had lots of EXTRAS. Acrobatics, Fireworks (albeit small ones, but nevertheless fireworks), very cool black light effects, TARZAN swinging on vines and OVER the audience.

At the very beginning, they had a mock Jungle Cruise boat that "docks" and picks up some select kids from the audience for a "cruise" around the Ice and props.

This was an awesome presentation and although I have been enjoying the Disney on Ice presentations for some time, I left last night excited to see what they come up with next. Some of the things in this show you just have to see to understand.

And of course, there were some great Ice Skating moments (Phil Collins music was nice for skating).

HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING if it comes around your area.

this was my first disney on ice experience - so i thought this was standard stuff!!! i couldn't believe the acrobatic tricks from the Trahin the Camp part - i would have busted my BUTT!!! anyway - the Jungle Cruise Jokes were GREAT - i loved how Goofy said...
"If you enjoy yourself, my name is Goofy, if not, then I am Donald" - right from the Jungle cruise corny humor list!!!

i was really scared for tarzan and jane on their vine climb--- it was scary

Wow, I don't think I've seen a Disney on Ice show for 7 years! I think the last one I saw was Toy Story. Just stopped going to them after the Disney Broadway shows started their touring companies. Maybe I'll go back to one someday, but I'm not sure which. they all seem to be just compelations of past shows (the jungle show, the princess show, ect.) Although the Jungle one does sound good. I'll have to keep an eye out for that one.

Well, not to sell the others short, each "on Ice" has a good amount of songs and props. It just seemed that the Jungle version had the most variety of things. But the Acrobatics I have never seen before.
