It's a nice walk that is faster than the boat. I can understand after a long day though not being up for that trek back with kids.Any idea how long it will be closed for? We always walk to DHS but I can see where a lot of people would be upset or inconvenienced.
You mean an electric death box?If only there was a high tension cable based form of mass transportation available to be used as an alternate means of getting to DHS.
I didn’t say monorails. It's a nice walk that is faster than the boat. I can understand after a long day though not being up for that trek back with kids.

That won't help these resorts, however. If only there was a high tension cable based form of mass transportation available to be used as an alternate means of getting to DHS.

Ah, he meant the hanging crucible of doom instead.I didn’t say monorails.
I would think no. The gondolas and boats should complement each other in the Epcot resort area. Much like Magic Kingdom resorts have monorail and boat transportation.Do you think they will phase out the boat service to DHS after the gondolas are put in service?
The posted notes say 6 weeks and bus service will be provided to the affected resorts. Also the work involves the pier and bridge at S&DAny idea how long it will be closed for? We always walk to DHS but I can see where a lot of people would be upset or inconvenienced.
No. The gondolas don’t stop at the Crescent Lake resorts.Do you think they will phase out the boat service to DHS after the gondolas are put in service?

It will easily be rapped up by then. The plan is to have this back up before the summer season really ramps up. And the walk is minutes.I am hoping it's only for 6 weeks. We are heading in September and have always used boat to HS. If a person was to walk, how long does it take?
Roughly 5-10 minutes faster then the boat ride. Depends on your pace of course, but it isn't hard to beat the boats.I am hoping it's only for 6 weeks. We are heading in September and have always used boat to HS. If a person was to walk, how long does it take?
