Hey y'all-

I wanted to gather your thoughts on who has the better fried chicken?

Also, generally speaking, is there a difference between lunch and dinner at either location?

Thanks in advance.

Plaza Inn is quick service, so no need for reservations there, unless you do the character breakfast. The menu is the same all day.

Not sure about Carnation's menu.

I prefer Plaza Inn's chicken.

Thanks for mentioning that, I should have mentioned that in my earlier post. Carnation is the one that can be hard to get a seat if you don't have a reservation. I think my first post might have been confusing.

Plaza In all the way, not even a close call IMO. Carnation's is just a single chicken breast (bone-in) w/ mashed potatoes and veggies for $16.50. Plaza gets you three pieces (breast, thigh, and wing) w/ mashed potatoes, veggies, and a biscuit for $16 (w/ brown gravy if you want it). You can almost always walk right in with very little line and there's plenty of seating and free refills on drinks.

Patty melt and fried pickles at Carnation is awesome though if that's your thing.

Thanks y'all. I enjoy fried pickles, but it seems everyone digs the Plaza. We are making it a must do for our upcoming trip.

We also booked the WoC dining for lunch at the Wine Country Trattoria. It was the only one available for our trip for preferred seating. Any experiences with that?

I have done it three times and it was great each time. I like the filet there and it is nice getting to eat out on the patio while the sun goes down. Also, the Pixar Play Parade goes right past it so if you are there around 5:15 you can get a nice view. As far as WOC is concerned, we have always been able to get a spot right in front (our preferred location, we don't mind getting a little wet) about 30-45 minutes prior to the show, but I imagine the crowd will be much heavier once the new show starts after May 22nd.
