Friday's Christmas Parade Taping

Hi everyone,
I was just curious if any of you attended today's taping of the Christmas parade and how it went?!?! I will be going tomorrow and was curious if anyone knew what celebrities will be performing this year and if they were there today or if they will be there tomorrow? Also what were the start/stop times for the afternoon taping? Any info and/or juicy gossip about the parade will be appreciated!

IMO the taping is on saturday??? (1st weekend in december)

Actually, the parade taping was today, Saturday, & I heard even Sunday. My voucher is for tomorrow too for the 12PM shift. See you then!

I spoke with a CM today at the MK and they said there will be taping on Sunday. The only celeb that the CM mentioned for Sunday was Wayne Brady, but there should be more.

Today they taped all of the segments in front of the castle including...
Vanessa Williams, the Brian Setzer Orchestra, Paulina Rubio(sp), and John O'Hurley(of Seinfeld fame).

This is how its going(went) down. On friday, today, they had performance by vanessa williams, an orchestra, and 2 other artist. There was not taping of the "parade" just the performances. Regis and Kelly werent even on site today.

Tommorow, Saturday, will be the first day of the taping. Regis and kelly will be here tommorow and tommorow only. I guess they could stay if they want to have a vacation. The Cheetah Girls will also be there tommorow

On sunday, more taping of the actual parade will be done. Off the top of my heard I know that Wayne Brady, and Lonestar will be there on sunday.

Thats what I know and that came right from our "tel-e-cast"

The taping Friday was a lot of fun. I was next to a bunch of CP's that were having a great time. Sheila from Adventures Club was doing crowd stuff and some other guy (he wasn't as good as she was). The characters were having a blast too and were goofing around. I didn't stay for John O'Hurley and left when they were doing the stage change. I wish I could have stayed but it had been a long morning already and I was coming back for MVMCP. I did feel for the CM elves later that evening during the parade I recognized 2 that were there for the taping in the AM. This was during the 10:45pm parade so they definately had a long day. Kudos to them..they had the same energy that they had 12 hours before.

I was there yesterday for the 1pm taping of Vanessa Williams, and another pop stars whos name I cant remember...Apparently it is suppose to be the grand finale of the christmas show, and it should be really awesome to see on TV. Lots of extras and prob about 30 characters or so were out all at the same time. Then it was followed by the wave goodbye which apparently is suppose to be all the Disney parks waving to each other around the world. Sorry I dont have any pics to show, as I got home and all the files on the card were corrupt... =(( :xmas:

I was there yesterday, was there today....and will be there tomorrow!

Tomorrow is Wayne Brady, Lonestar and not sure of anyone else.
