Perhaps they are relying on this exact issue in hopes that the lines are only one hour instead of two.

That's a possibility as well. But I have a feeling that Disney wants these M&Gs to chow down on as many people as possible to decrease other ride times. With the length of the proposed M&Gs I can envision HUGE wait times and very long lines for the first couple of years. Which is good and bad all at the same time. But if they do have multiple rooms for each M&G show, I guess it's possible that they could move A LOT of people in a rather short amount of time. Guess we'll see once they release new info, if ever. :)

1. PPF
2. SWSA
3. Pooh
4. IaSW
5. Little Mermaid.

That is 5. There, proof.

I don't consider Small World or Little Mermaid to be a "dark ride", unless you consider Pirates and Mansion and Dinosaur and Imagination to be dark rides too. At Disneyland, when you say "dark ride", you are talking about a little car on a bus bar track that goes through simple blacklight sets. Snow White, Pooh, Toad, Pan, Alice, etc. are "dark rides".

Using that definition of dark rides, I would consider WDW's Fantasyland to have three dark rides, and two E Tickets (once Little Mermaid opens).

I have no doubt that the M&G's for FLE are going to be done beautifully and very highly themed and presented. There will likely be some nifty 21st century digital effects and computer power behind them as well. The exteriors look to be gorgeous structures too.

But there's just this little nagging voice in many ears (mine included) that says these planned M&G's just aren't the same as getting in a moving ride vehicle and traveling past sets and scenery for 2 or 4 minutes.

Disneyland has 7 dark rides currently, and WDW has 3 dark rides after FLE opens, and that's what bugs some folks a bit. :animwink:
