Free Wireless Internet

I'm afraid I already know the anwser to this one...but:
Is there anywhere on property to get free wireless internet? I'm going to have my laptop with me, and was just wondering if I should bring the wireless card.

I don't see paying ten bucks for internet, so I'm strictly looking for free internet on property.

Thank you!

I've been reading over the responses so far then thought of something...It might sound silly, but maybe Disney doesn't want you to think of the outside while you are there. I mean you are at WDW, why should you check in on work? I dunno...just an idea.... :)

Well the only resorts that do have them are the ones with conference centers and, one would assume, a lot of business travelers. Since business travelers are there for work, they need access to stuff like that.

The other resorts are vacationers. Most vacationers probably don't need or want access to the internet. So it may not be cost effected to wire the resorts for this service. The other reason may be is that high speed internet might make guests stay in their room more. If you're in your room, you aren't in the parks. If you aren't in the parks, you aren't spending money. Even at $10/day Disney might have found that they would make more money if they encouraged you to be out of your room as much as possible

I was only looking for internet access so I could upload my pictures to the web. The free internet in DisneyQuest would be nice, but you would need to pay for a ticket to get in (or have that option on your MYW ticket) and even then, I'm sure email websites would be blocked. (Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, etc)

And like Laura 22 said, every other hotel has free internet. But I guess they are trying to cater to the traveling buisnessman.

Thanks for everyone's help and imput!

I don't think that email is blocked, but you won't be able to get your pictures onto the computer.

To address the DVC question: I know the rooms at Saratoga Springs have high-speed available in-room. I didn't ask about pricing, but I'm guessing it's their standard rate.
