Free Dinning Pin

When I went to make my husbands profile I used another email address of mine and it said my email already had an account!! So I never received any pins for them! Oh well. I still have some hope. But we need to book our hotel. We are planning on the Dolphin this time for the great deal we got. But if we got a free dinning pin then we would book at a Disney hotel! I guess we could always cancel and switch.

Just got a pin code for free dining from August 22 through October 2.
It was in my bulk folder.

WOW! I just checked my Junk email and I got a free dining pin code! But I am not sure what to do. It expires in 3 days but I would rather have the dining at a later day. Should I just take what I got and book now or take my chances on free Fall Dining?

I think the one thing you should definitely do after setting up your profile, ordering the maps & dvds, etc., is to make your reservations via phone. We just returned from a trip, and I originally tried to make my reservations online. After having some trouble with the system, I called and low and behold, we had a pin code discount for free dining! Had I gone through with making our reservations online, I would have never known!

I really wonder how they choose to do the PIN codes. I get them quite frequently. Last year I stayed at the Contemporary and the Polynesian for 10 days and this year, I've received 4-5 PIN codes for free dining throughout the year (fall-spring). Last year I originally booked my trip with a free dining PIN, but then switched my reservation to the 30 percent deluxe discount (which made my trip cheaper than the free food!!)
Is the system really that random? Or, since I used free dining PIN last year in my original booking, did the system automatically resend me them this year to get me to come back?
Oh, btw, the free dining is nice, but I would rather have the room discount. When you stay at a deluxe hotel, the savings outweigh the free dining.

YAY! I am so happy! We are going to book a September trip. Glad I let my pin expire.
