Free Dining

This is me being totally naive about using a travel agent to book a Disney trip so please don't be offended, but what is the advantage of using one as opposed to doing it myself?
No offense here. Using KK, we will sit on hold for you, book your dining, do an itinerary for you and assist you in any way possible - all for no extra charge. :)

For those planning on booking bright and early on Monday morning, I can tell you from past experience you will be on hold for quite a while. I gave up after almost an hour and gave Kingdom Konsultants a call. That was 3 years ago and they have done my bookings ever since.

I called at 7:00 exactly, got right through, and added free dining to my trip. The cm was kinda off, she told me I had to register my wife online for the birthday giftcard for our trip in sept., instead of just doing it at the park.

I have always booked online, so to clearify, pricing of the hotel/tickets is the same as if booked via Disney vs. KK? I will be traveling during the free dining period so I want to make sure I do it right!

That is exactly correct! We get the same pricing as if you booked directly through Disney. If you would like some help, please feel free to contact me by email or phone! :)

Yes and no. There is no reason that you can not get the same rates that we could get you on your own. The big difference is that you may not know about a discount or how to tweak the available offers to get the most out of them. We eat, breathe and sleep Disney and we know exactly what discounts are out there. Once you book with KK you can pretty much forget about your trip until it is time to take it. We keep an eye on all the available discounts and if one come up that will save you money we will rebook you at the new lower rate.

Pardon my ignorance on this, and feel free to tell me it's none of my business, but how do you guys make money on this if the rates are the same whether we use you or just book direct?

Commission. I'll let the agents get into more detail on the amount and on what services if they want.

No your not cuz I was wondering the same thing. So does disney pays them the commission? If they do does that mean they are losing money if we use a travel agent?

Disney does pay us a commission. Since they pay us a commission there is not need for us to charge for any of our services which do include dining reservations, tour reservations, etc. We put everything in an itinerary for you.

The price will be the same but you will get our personal attention and experience.

I am so sorry I just noticed your last sentence. The answer is definitely no. The small amount of money that a travel agent makes is not going to make any type of a dent in Disney's bank roll. It is the same price that they would charge you so they would be making that money either way.
