Free Dining vs Room Discount Offer

It really depends on the situation as to which deal is better. We have been staying in Disney resorts for over 20 years. The free dining offer has never been the better deal for us. We dine in the table service restaurants to. We have never used the mug as we don't want to carry it around with us. For example of our next upcoming visit. Room discount at Yacht Club is about $7,400.00 with dining it's over 10,000. We will still come out ahead by not going with the dining plan.

How long are you going, sounds like 10 or 12 days? I am assuming 2 people? I am very jealous

I take the room discount. We almost always do counter service...I sometimes eat a kids meal if not too hungry. Ive always felt the discount is better money saved.

I am doing the free dining I am booked at old key west aug 6-13th. We are a BIG family I will have 4 adults and 5 “Disney adults mine breaks down like this ......

For the same exact trip with the 30% off room promo it is 13,967 so huge savings with a large family
