Free dining plan eliminated in 2015????.?

There are a decent amount of folks on this forum that would love to see Disney increase their ticket prices and do away with the free dining. There are other threads on this.

I really don't care about 'other threads', I'm responding to this one. I'm not asking why members of this forum want Free Dining gone, I get that. I'm asking why it would make sense for Disney to do away with it, when it's purpose is to fill resort rooms. Raising ticket prices isn't going to suddenly fill resort rooms and thereby eliminate the need for Free Dining.

Your answer lies in those other threads. We don't need to have ANOTHER debate about this. The dead horse has been kicked enough.

As I said prior. There are those on here that want Disney to raise prices (immensely) and eliminate promos, such as free dining, to help to thin out the volume of people in the parks, so that they can have a better experience with less people.

Free dining isn't going anywhere anytime soon probably, so it's a non-issue right now.
