Free Dining In December??

We are currently waiting for the dining in December.
Hope it comes out, I am checking daily.

This would be the first time we did the dining, and looking forward to it!
Maybe Santa's elves are working on the announcement? :xmas:

I agree with the previous poster... I wouldn't bank on the free dining in the beginning of December if the 40% off discounts are not valid for the 1st 2 weeks in December.

I may be imagining things...but last year, as we started approaching 365 days out from our 45 day mark- I started keeping track of 2009 discounts- hoping it would be a good indicator for what was in store for 2010. I remember getting scared b/c there was a discount announced but it totally missed our dates. Then a couple of weeks later- might have been as late as October- there was something offered...rather than a room discount or dining...I think it was one of those stay for 4 or 5 nts w/MYW park tickets and get 2 days free to stay and play. Like I said- I may be imagining this. :hammer:So- I apologize now if I'm remember this incorrectly.

That is the same thing that happened to us! We are arriving on Dec 4th and leaving Dec 11th and I got the pin code for the 40% off rooms just for the 4th! I was so mad!!! I hope there is free dining also!!

Same as everyone else. We're going Dec 15-21 and a few of our days are included in the discount. I'm hoping for something better (aka food) to come along. We're only saving 300$ or so, but with a free dining plan, we'd save 200$ more.

We are going Dec. 12-Dec. 17 and also hoping for the free dining. Our agent from Small World thinks it might happen. We budgeted for it just in case it doesn't happen.

We tried to see it this way, whether or not the free dining is there:

Pros of free dining: Great dining options at restaurants, saves $, lots of food
Cons of free dining: Lots of food....it doesn't help that it's post-Thanksgiving and pre-Christmas.

If the free dining does come into play, we'll probably have to bring some pants with elastic waistbands.

Did you get a PIN code in the mail? There are PIN codes floating around out there that cover your dates for up to 40% off lodging. It was a Monsters Inc. themed card. We got one, but can't use it b/c it doesn't cover our dates. We thought about switching to Dec 12-18 to cash in on it, but it would have messed up too many things for us.

I am a Disney Visa holder and didnt see a pin yet for December. Is one out yet? I am going the first week of December and didnt see the pi but have been waiting for it. Can anyone help or send em the code?

I didn't get any PIN code offers yet in the mail. I'm a Disney VISA card holder, so hopefully they will send something soon!
