so what does this mean? Universal has stale content too

lol - contrary to popular belief, Disney is not panicking and thinking Universal is going to put them out of business
2012 stats:
Magic Kingdom – 17,536,000
EPCOT – 11,063,000
Animal Kingdom – 9,998,000
Hollywood Studios – 9,912,000
Total: $48,509,000
Universal Island of Adventure – 7,981,000
Universal Studios – 6,195,000
Total: $14,176,000 (still less than MK alone)
Math is fun. Your stats, while correct, don't really paint an accurate picture of the issue. Here's the same data but showing the attendance change from 2008 to 2012. Notice that the parks (both Disney and non Disney) that have had the most significant additions in terms of content show double digit growth. Of course the outlier is USF but that can be attributed to IOA cannabilizing attendance. I know, I know, WDW's attendance is still more than 3X UNI's attendance but you cannot ignore a nearly 34% increase in your competitors business and not be concerned.
