FP+ Electrical Parade. Is it worth it?

I saw on TouringPlans that the MSEP could actually be a BETTER FP to get than Wishes, because you are able to get great viewing spots for MSEP, then can stay there afterwards with great viewing for Celebrate the Magic and Wishes.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Because the entire parade travels through the entire parade route, no one viewing area is any better than another. The FP+ for parades will get you out of the crowd somewhat and eliminate the pushing and shoving that tends to happen, it also happens late at night so you really wouldn't be able to book any extra fastpasses during the day. Also in my opinion the area is too close the castle for good fireworks spot, I'd prefer to be on the lower half of the hub, where there is almost always space available. Just beware because they will sometimes close the bridges into the hub on busy nights when the area gets full.

Using FP+ for MSEP may not be the best use of your first three FP+, especially if you arrive at MK early. Here's why: For FoF, using FP+ made sense for me. I arrived at MK early afternoon that day, so I could easily fit it in as one of my first three, the first being 7DMT just before it. It is a great viewing spot. You can look right down the entrance from Liberty Square and see the parade turn onto the hub.

As for MSEP, if you arrive at MK early and MSEP if one of your first three FP+, you cannot get any additional FP until that third one is used that evening. You're better off getting three other FP+ that you can use "back to back". Then, if you're lucky, see if you can get a fourth or higher FP+ for MSEP from the kiosk. OTOH, if your schedule has you arriving at MK in the late afternoon, early evening AS YOUR FIRST PARK for the day, then getting a FP+ as one of your first three for MSEP makes better sense.

I would say no. If you go to the first show just get there a little earlier. If you go to the late show, there will be plenty of room all over the place.
