Trip Report Four Seasons Disneyworld

Just came back from the Four Seasons DisneyWorld - it was a last minute trip during Labor Day weekend. Celebrating our 28 Anniversary. We have gone to the 4SDW several times so we know the hotel and it’s many amenities. We will report on what we encountered plus will talk about our pre trip planning for Halloween weekend. Halloween weekend is my 60th bday (Goosienight).

The plan was so last minute, plus with COVID - what would we encounter? 9/5 is our anniversary. We booked the trip online and with some phone contact. We flu Jetblue round trip from Boston.

Airline: middle seats were all empty. Flu down Friday at 7 am flight. Noticed that all airlines cut back on flights being offered. Only two nonstops there and back each day FYI.

We were impressed with the airline in keeping people informed, planes cleaned and process to enter/leave the plane.

Airport: very quite. Not many people at all through security - no wait. Noticed most shops and restaurants in the airport closed with exception of Hudson news and coffee shops. Most people wore masks and kept to themselves.

4 Seasons offered car service to and from. The driver wore a mask and cleaned the car before and after we entered. He gave us an update on the Florida economy. He is seeing signs (small as they are) of more people traveling to Florida. He maintained that he worked most days however ridership was lower. He decided to continue to work as other drivers opted for the federal support (he said he would go crazy sitting at home).

Hotel: we were/are impressed. Their customer service was already high, even higher during COVID. Monitored your temp as you entered through remote scan - not a bother at all. You don't even know it is happening. Full service checking in - all the elements of the hotel are open - with a careful nod to "please wear your mask walking around". Pools, restaurants, shops, golf, walking paths - all open.

And get this, they have a person stationed at elevators assisting you on and off and monitoring.

Room service as you want it - as long as you are not in the room.

Very impressive - they even have a character meal breakfast still.

Overall - a very good trip. I turn 60 in October so we decided to book the same trip for 10/29 - 11/1 and we plan to bring our adult children with us. They have never stayed at the 4 Seasons Orlando - so this will be fun
