Wow it was really a spectacle back then. But of course back then we also had a not-so-dumbed-down Spaceship Earth (think of it as the first back up system), the Lights of Winter, the original Land pavilion....

As planned, yes.
I hope it gets refurbished, probably would get new hardware hope the music isn't too 20 like it is on the belagio. Any work on a refurbishment and are there any plans drawn out for all this?As planned, yes.
Because its a show that turns itself on and off, besides maintance and repairs it doesn't need a cast to run the show, it's surrounded by plain buildings and a giant sphere as a backdrop. So much potential for projections and a show that doesn't require casting just a computer. If there were another show that's a means for more night attendance. The fact they still run it tells me there's plans and they don't want to hear me complaining. Theres potential in that spot. The horrible thing: They could just shut this off and it wouldn't affect ticket sales in any measurable way so, why leave it on? It'll cost money to fix it. It costs money to run it. It'll cost money to maintain it. It'll cost money to remove it. Just shut it off. Disney continues to have banner years. Problem solved.
I've heard they are working on a new show for the area that should be ready by Flower & Garden Festival 2017. The working title is "Planter of Nations".
