Why do people do that? I'll never understand. I mean, what would they gain from doing that?
I think you mis-understand. The reddit post wasn't the actual review, it was a screen shot of a review someone found somewhere else. The fake reviews he mentioned where just other people posting in response to the picture and making up fake reviews for fun.
"Review" of the Great Movie Ride:
"A man with a gun HIJACKED THE RIDE! My heart leaped from my chest and my kids were in tears. To make matters worse, that monster from the Alien movies tried to attack the car and we barely got away. To top it all off, we pull into a room full of venomous snakes and the man with the gun decides to try and steal some Egyptian jewel. When he touched it HE WAS BURNED ALIVE!! When the smoke cleared he was nothing but a skeleton, and our original tour guide pops up laughing like they didn't just murder someone in front of us. I contacted the police, and Disneyworld officials but ain't never got no good explanation. I think there is a huge cover up going on. Everyone should stay far away from Hollywood Studios, and the park should be closed entirely!"
oh, um.I actually had a friend who has been to Disney several times and recorded the creaky bridge effect on Snapchat... She's never experienced the effect before and thought it was real she was freaking out! I had to reassure her...
.. At least it's a believable affect!
Didn't one of the bridges intentionally tilted/rock back and forth at one time? Didn't notice it on last year's trip.
oh
oh, um.
glad she has a friend like you.
Three Wolf Moon is still my favorite. You mean like the Amazon reviews of the $600 ethernet cable
Or the hilarious reviews of the 55 Gallon Drum of personal lubricant ...

I have also encountered people that are that dense. The worst was the woman after riding Everest who said in a very scared and serious voice "we'll have to go tell guest relations that the ride has a broken track" and then promptly headed off while her granddaughter was yelling "Nana, that's part of the ride!" My mother and I laughed ourselves silly.
