I think the partials come with water and electricity, no sewage and no cable. But, im not 100% sure. All the camping loops do have bathroom and shower stations near them and I heard they were really good. hope this helps

The comfort stations are very nice and very clean...

Partial does not have cable or sewage but do have electricity and water.

I love the campgrounds...:)

So is there a need to lug a microwave?
Depends on if you would use it...:D. Take plenty of warm sleeping bags, the weather can turn cold and damp in later Novemeber. Also take the regular camping supplies, flashlight, lights for your site if you want. Most people there around the Holidays set up their own Christmas displays, it can be qiute a sight. The campground even offers a contest for the best decorations so everyone can walk around and enjoy the decorations and vote for who has the best. It is clean and fun, a ton to do and see. Have a blast!

Thank you for the responses!

Something I wondered as well. I would believe so, but is there any concern for snakes? I am going with someone who has ophidiophobia.

:eek::eek: If I ever saw a snake I would faint dead away, big snake, small snake, doesn't matter. I have never seen one at the campround but I have no doubt that there are some there. Lizards are everywhere, by the way and I hate those too. I just look up and keep walking.

I have never seen a snake at FW. Last February we watched an armadillo walk through the campsite next to us. We expected lots of screaming since the campsite was inhabited by a bunch of Girl Scouts, but they must not have seen it since no screaming.

Comfort Stations are very clean and cleaned at logical times so no need to worry about not being able to get a shower in the morning.

Growing up (mind you I'm only 26) every other year we took our family vacation down to the world. We drove down from NY with our camper following and honestly I loved every minute of being in Fort Wildreness. The bathrooms were spotless and never a complaint about anything.

It is certainly possible. They will typically avoid people but I have seen snakes at Ft Wilderness. To be fair I have also seen them at PORS, The All Stars, CS, and MK.

Just wanted to add that according to allears, the partial loops do have cable now
"Loops 1500 and 2000 will remain as partial hook-up sites for campers using tents, pop-up campers and van campers. As now, RV will not be allowed on these sites. All sites include cable TV and offer high-speed Internet access for an addition daily fee."

And as far as snakes go- a few years ago I went with my family. For some reason my husband and I left the pop-up at home and stayed in a tent.

Knowing how much I hate snakes, my dad bought a fake rubber snake (from somewhere in Adventureland, I think) and laid it just inside our tent for me to find  So if you're going with someone like my dad, you might just see snakes- make sure they're real before you freak out
