Can anyone help with the answer to this question please. Does fort wilderness campground get all the perks of a Disney hotel? Early morning EMH? And I know fast pass plus is slowly being launched but does the campground count as disney hotel for this purpose? I have been to Disney many times but never to this resort and I am trying to help a friend out who is staying there next year. Any advice appreciated.

They are apparently staying in a lodge on site .

For reassurance, Fort Wilderness is every much a Disney resort as any of the others. We have stayed there many times in an RV and is one of the best resorts to stay out. Beautiful grounds and plenty of recreational activities. Your friend will get all of the benefits of any other Disney resort, including EMH, transportation (boats to MK, buses to everywhere else), and mymagic+ and FP+ access (Fort Wilderness was included as one of the last Disney resorts back in late October to join the trials).

Many thanks for your advice. I am preparing a planner for them with loads of info from my years of experience but wanted to be sure before I gave them the info to make their trip a lasting memory with lots of tips. I have offered to go with them if they want to pay for me! Still waiting for a reply on that one!

I think there is some issue with dining plans there, but am not sure. I remember reading something about it.

In my opinion it is the brst resort, bring bikes for the family or a golf cart or you can rent one, I have met the nicest people there and most are willing to help you and answer any questions. Alot of those campers stay there for lenthy visits so they know more than most people, cant wsit for the next RV trip there, judt have to get another one, lol.

Fort Wilderness is the nicest campground I have ever stayed at and you get all the perks (with the exception of free dining which is a little detail I did not know).

Are they staying at Wilderness Lodge or actually in a cabin at Fort Wilderness. A lot of people don't understand the difference between the two and get confused.
