Right, but if it's just called "wooden leg named Smith" there's no room for ambiguity and thus no joke!

Hence my joke based on the botched setup.
It's only "botched" up if you are not familiar with the story. If one is aware of the story then they understand what it is about and it requires no setup! Not everything needs to be completely spelled out unless we are all without the ability for abstract thought.

Is that the arch above where you pay for parking??

That's really neat to know! (especially to me :D)
Where was it at WOL? I'm not getting a mental picture from anything in this pic being familiar.

I saw somewhere that the ticket booth at Typhoon Lagoon was once part of the narrow gauge railway that ran from Ft. Wilderness to the Magic Kingdom, that was way back in the early days of WDW, not sure if it's true however.

It was the main entrance arch sign.

You're thinking of the PI ticket booths

Gah that's so beautiful. Unfortunately I only have very few faded memories from the inside...

My sister and I spent an entire park day in there when we were really little. 2 of Epcot's BEST attractions (Cranium Command/Body Wars) were walk ons all day, and even with that said.. I bunch of interactive stuff throughout the pavilion, a little cafe, making of me film and goofy film. It was the best escape from the crowds and heat that Epcot had to offer honestly!

I just loved the fact that nobody was ever in there, despite it having the first Epcot thrill ride and one of Disney's most entertaining AA shows... but.. I guess that also contributes to why it closed.

Body Wars > Star Tours. And I don't remember the interactive stuff specifically, but I remember doing it and having so much fun. I remember I had these WOL images in my head, but I couldn't figure out what exactly they were from, since I had kind of forgotten about it until I started perusing these boards.
