I worked for Disney as a Show Finisher in the Artist Prep department and Disney's Animal Kingdom. I was there for 23 years and truly enjoyed what I did. Essentially we were aesthetic maintenance but some production as well. Did a lot of mold making, painting, worked with plastics, silicone, concrete and the animatronics. (Plus a lot more). I have been reading the forum for some time. Finally decided to sign in.

That must have been a wonderful time to work for Disney. Congratulations on your dream job!
It really was. I loved it. I got to work side by side with my husband. When we decided to step away things were changing and we decided to start our own business. It has been great. We still work with the local theme parks but there is a lot more freedom to it.
