I would rather boycott LwtL because its a REALLY booooring ride. I only do it because the first 3-4 minutes are really enjoyable with the rainforest, the prarie etc. but then it goes straight downhill. It was quite interesting to hear the explanations about future agriculture once in the 80ies. But I would really prefer a relaunch of the attraction with more ecosystems and less agriculture, like it was planned originally.

Ahhh, but it is so relaxing and allows you to rest up a bit. I especially like that there are no bored CM's just going through the motions. Sometimes you can get a boat with only your party on it and that is the best part about the new version.

Glad this thread was bumped after almost two years.

To those who said "wait and see", all I can say is that if you were bored on this ride before, it's ten times worse now, and if you really liked this ride with the live CM, then I think you will most likely hate it now.

IMHO the recorded info version is REALLY bad. The audio is low, and the few times I went, the other people in the boat just talked over it the whole time. What a waste this attraction has become.

You must have been lucky to get some good cast members during your trips. My visit last year, we listened to a very dull narration of the land. It was pretty bad.

I'm holding off judgement until hearing the new narration of myself.

Went on it again in May, Still Love it, and had no problems with the audio level, or the fact that it was recorded. This gives You more attention to the ride itself, and not keeping You rivited to the CM repeating there speel. Just a relaxing, cool, comfortable ride to take a break in.

...I am NOT a fan of the recorded audio. I miss having the CMs guide us through the Land.

Everyone talks about the bored CMs.........have you ever payed attention to the CM stationed just before you go into the first greenhouse? I even say one asleep there once......

I posted in this thread back in '06 and actually enjoyed the recorded audio when I rode LwtL back earlier this year. I hate that actual living, breathing CM's were taking off this ride, but I have no complaints for the spiel. I think it was money well spent.
