I like the second one a lot, but it seems as though Disney has shied away from such a long name in their other E-Ticket attractions.

Sounds great, but a little wordy.

Also, when you enter Asia, on the right, near the Gibbons, is a painted map of Anandapor. I've just been informed that the painting shows something on the otherside of Kali Rapids:
White, snow-capped mountains.

I for some reason have never taken a photo of that map, has anyone got one?

I don't think it is too long at all. Look at some of the other attractions with long names:

Indiana Jones and the Temple Of The Forbidden Eye

The Extra Terrorestrial Alien Encounter
The Enchanted Tiki Room:Under New Management

to name a few

But how many people call them by those names?

Most people call it The Tiki Room and Alien Encounter. I'm guessing most people just call it Indiana Jones as well.


I assume that most people will just call this ride Everest or Forbidden Mountain depending on the final name.

Oh I totally agree. Most of the attractions get 'pet names' added to them no matter HOW short or long the name is.

THANKS! I don't know why I missed it. Did anyone notice the filing date! It was March 5, 2003!! I didn't realize this project had such recent origins. Usually rides have their names trademarked years before an announcement even begins. Often they trademark names for rides that they don't even end up building! I wonder which one they eventually go with. I hope they pick the subtitled one as I LOVE the name Forbidden Mountain and I would hate to see it not integrated into the title.
