We have been to WDW more than a dozen times. But for some reason I am more excited this time than previous trips. I don't know why. I don't want to wish my life away but we don't go until October. CAN"T WAIT.

Anyone else have this happen? Thoughts?

I guess the excitement has caused me to start this post.

We're going in October too and yes, I've already started looking forward to it. Yesterday even checked out the Menu for Cowfish at City Walk to try to figure out what I'd like the most.

I totally understand what you mean about not wanting to wish your life away. I had a baby in February, and my daughter is 3. We're going for her 4th birthday this fall. And as excited as I am, I keep telling myself that by that time my daughter is going to be 4 already, and my son will be so big! I don't want to wish away the entire summer with them, but I am SO excited to go back to Disney with them both!

I don't know if I can say I'm more excited than I was my first trip at age 14.

This trip will be very different for several reasons:
First, because we are staying at a Disney Resort for the first time, which is very exciting!
Second, because I will have a baby! I can't wait to do things that never interested me before - like Dumbo, and the Disney Jr. show.
Third, we have the dining plan which will be such a huge chunk off of our general budget. I love that we really don't have to worry if we'll go hungry (like we did during our very first trip in '92).

I was there 6 years ago, but mom hasn't been for 15 years! I can't wait to see the new Fantasyland.

EVERY trip warrants excitement. Every trip is unique and has new, fresh goals to accomplish. I love the day we book it, I love the scheming and planning and dreaming about whats to come, I love the days being crossed off the calendar. Then the excitement gets uncontrollable once we reach 10 days to go. I'm about to burst as we are approaching the property line and check in. Too bad all the other parts of my life couldnt be as exhilarating as the Disney part.:joyfull:

As my signature says, each day gets you closer to your next trip and that alone gets me excited.
We take a couple trips a year. I keep a count down from one trip to the next. It's fun just thinking about. As a family our daughter sets up a family amazing race in the parks. It makes each trip new, fun and exciting. And there are prizes! Not expensive....maybe the winner's get to pick the place we go to eat for the evening of the "race".

Oh my goodness! We have 15 days until our trip, and I am just thinking Disney at every minute! No matter when or where I stay on Disney property, I get excited! This time though we're staying at the Grand Floridian! I am super excited to celebrate my boys' "graduation" from 5th grade, and my Mom's 75th birthday! We can't wait!:joyfull:
