FoP FP Achieved

My 60 day window opened up today, and I was able to get a FP for FoP at 9:25 AM on what would be our day 65. That was the earliest time available. I just thought I would post for all those who are about to make their own FP reservations. I didn't check available times for earlier days in our trip.

That's great! Did you see if there were any slots at all on earlier days or was that the first availability of your entire trip?

FWIW, @Fankle, I made my FP+ a couple of weeks ago for my trip (arriving 5/1), and the FoP FP+ availability for my family (party of 4) was as follows: nothing on day 60, a few FP+ available from 6:30pm through closing on day 61, mid-afternoon through closing on day 62, mid-morning through closing on days 63 and 64, and pretty much all day long on day 65 and later. Obviously, YMMV, but there was much more availability than I expected.

Today was my window as well. Arriving 5/12/2018. Got FP+ for FOP for day 61 at 2:10 pm. Happy dance. I could not get TSM at DHS. Assuming either they still are not handing them out, or since down to one line, they are sold out. We only have 4 days, including arrival and departure day. (going to Universal two days in the middle). Doing Epcot on arrival day and DHS on the the day we leave, flight is at 6:45 pm, and our last FP+ is from 2:00-3:00 so I at DHS am assuming we won't get to do Toy Story this trip. Otherwise, we got all that we wanted.

On day 60 I made all my reservations and I got it for day 61...see above post.

When I made my 60-day rezzies week before last, I had no problems getting FP for FoP and I was even late to the party by four days somehow. It helped that AK was the 5th day.

I did not look at earlier days. We had already planned our AK day for day 65, partly in hopes of having a better chance of getting an early FP. I went straight there at 7:00 AM sharp.

Missed the morning window for FoP for May 14th so we grabbed River Journey instead and will either attempt a Early magic Hours rope drop for FoP or try and snag a fastpass through the day.
FoP would likely be a bit of overwhelming first ride for our 11 year old and 8 year old anyhow..especially since the 8 year old is pretty unsure. She liked Soarin' but the idea of riding something has her pretty hesitant.

I did mine last night (7pm in Australia - when my 60day window opened!) and I got them for day 61 - which is our first official park day.
3:50pm - 4:50pm which works PERFECTLY for me as i didnt want to wake up and do Rope Drop on our first day. I also got N'aavi ride for 9:10am on day 62. Couldnt be happier as all our fast passes worked in with what i had planned.

Not for nothing, but when my 60 window opened up, I was able to secure FoP reservations. I guess I lucked out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
