Bob Chapek has done such a good job, he is afraid of attending D23…
It is truly lonely at the top, especially when everyone hates you..
But it’s whatever is good for the shareholders I guess..
To tell you the truth, I don't think Bob Chapek should waste his time at D23. The fans need some fast talking insincere person to promise them that Dreamfinder needs to be resurrected. Similar to the way Joe Rhode promised the fans that he would fix the yeti. The CEO has better things to do than to schlep around with a bunch of D23 people.

Josh D'Amaro, Ken Potrock or Jeff Vahle can spend a day or two listening to the super fans and then write a report to the CEO distilling the encounter and presenting the best of the fan ideas. The report would most likely look like this: "In short Mr. Chapek, these people don't know what they're talking about. You were wise to skip this event."
