We just got back from the FaWF at EPCOT. We went on the first day (Oct 18 and again on the 22nd). I have to admit, I was a little dissapointed. We have been in years past and they always had receipe cards at each booth. This year they did not. In addition, they kept running out of food. "Sorry, we are all out of shrimp. Come back in 20 minutes." "We don't have any _____(Fill in the blank) ready now. We are cooking more. Please try back again in a little while." I must have heard that ten times on Saturday. There also seemed to be some strange food choices comparied to years past.

Still a fun event but not up to the standard set in the past.

I thought it was better than 2001, it seemed there were better food choices to me. I was a little dissapointed they did not have the little recipe cards. I remeber in 2000 when they had the WDW booth I do miss that one. I only been twice this year and am going back today but I never had to wait more than a few minutes for my food.

If you go by the "Festival Welcome Center", they either have a package that contains ALL of the recipes. Plus I think they will also e-mail all of the recipes to you.

Hi all, I'm glad to hear that the food choices are good. :slurp:
I remember that WDW booth! They had some great stuff there. Plus...if the 'samples' were good I'd end up eating at that restaurant. Kinda sad that the booth and recipie cards are gone :(
Somewhat sad that Bud World is gone ...I found it funny how they'd advertise how the company affects our daily lives. Well, in a good way

Are many of the menu items the same as last year? What are the new menu items for this year?

Thanks for the tips, we will be there Sat-Wed (11/2-11/6) and plan on spending lots of time at the F&WF.

I will look for the receipes at the welcome center.

We are thinking about the Saturday night "Senses" party for $79 each. Is it worth it? It will be our first day there and we will probabally be quite tired from the trip. But if it is worth it, we would give it a try.

Can't wait!
