We went last night during the soft opening. We started at the Terra booth (the Chili Colorado was terrific) and went counter-clockwise around the lagoon. We got as far as Belgium before we were too full to go any further. The steamed mussels at Belgium are being made with a new broth this year and were a huge disappointment. Everything else we tried was very good.

Yeah, we had a lot of time last year. I believe we initially scheduled four days at Epcot, and then our flight home was canceled due to weather and we were "stuck" in Disney for another two days, so of course we went back for even more Food & Wine.

The booths open at 11 AM when World Showcase Opens, although, sometimes, some of the booths in the part of the walk surrounding the lagoon that you can access before rope drop will open a little early.

I've never been to F&W before but have they always had states represented. I know they had Oklahoma a few years ago but that was for the centinal

Every year I've been to the Festival, there's been a US state, city or region represented. I think Louisiana (or maybe just New Orleans) had a booth a couple years ago. Hawai'i is there this year and was last year too. We also have Florida this year.

I'm sorry to hear that. I really enjoyed the garlic cream sauce from previous years but hoped that the new beer broth would be good too. I'm glad that you enjoyed the Terra booth, though!

They usually try to get something different each year. Be it a state, region, something to try to mix it up a bit so there is new food/drinks.
