Florida Residents 1 Day Ticket

I was hoping perhaps someone may be able to answer my question. I am a Florida Resident, going to Disney World for one day. On their website, I noticed that Florida Residents have a pre-arrival saving for 1 day tickets, and the ticket is only around $63, and this price isn't available at the gate. I was wondering if this ticket had to be purchased online, or if it could be purchased, say, at Downtown Disney. Also, if I have to purchase the ticket online, where would I pick it up because I am leaving on Wednesday, therefore, I'm sure that a postal delivery wouldn't have it at my home in time.

Thanks,

Dan

While I don't know anything about availability at Downtown Disney, I would say that they want you to purchase and pay for the ticket online, then pick it up at will call, which would mean going to any theme park ticket window when you arrive.

Terrific. Thank you so much. Also, I was wondering if you knew the proof of Florida identification required by Disney World. Do they accept college/university ID's as valid proof of FL residency for the 1 day park hoppers, or do they only accept FL driver's licenses.

Looks like you're good to go, the website says this:

Proof of Florida residency is required – you must provide any one of the following:
· Florida driver's license
· Florida state-issued ID card (must have Florida address)
· Florida voter's registration card with corresponding picture ID
· A college ID for a Florida College
· Florida based military ID

A few notes...

Picking it up from DtD would not have gotten a discount.

For will call, you must purchase the ticket the day before - otherwise the system wont process it to be picked up, thus you can't buy online for the same day (yet - they're looking into printable ticket vouchers and such).

That's what I thought, but when I called earlier, I was told it had to be a Florida Driver's License. Could you please provide me with the link where you found that information in order to have the information in front of me when I call Disney World back? Thank you!
