Florida resident discounts

I was wondering if you are able to get discounts for Florida residents at places like Universal and Busch Gardens. And if you do, how do you get it. I tried contacting Universal and they mentioned something about a Florida Identification Card. What is that? They also needed proof that I live there, so I guess I just need my College Program address or something. But I am just looking for a way to go to the other parks, and save some money.

pretty much what the Florida id is, is a florida driver's license. They have to know that you live in florida to get the discount. I tried the same thing when I was in CP in 03, and since I had a tenn drivers license, they said I wasn't a florida resident. Sorry to burst your bubble. Good luck.

I believe that there are 3 forms of ID that WDW and the other parks will take to prove Florida residency. Florida drivers licence, current military ID showing a Florida address or a current college ID for a Florida university.

Reside : occupying a place as one's LEGAL domicile. Resident: one who resides.

So you need to have a legal document with a Florida address issued by a government recognized agency. A work contract, although a legal document, does not qualify, although it could be used to obtain a FL ID. (As a utility bill, etc is sometimes used as supporting your state residency)

I doubt it. In order to get a Florida ID or licence you need to prove to the State of Florida that you live here and I doubt just giving them your grandmothers address will suffice.

They will want to see a Florida ID. $25 at any DMV office, and you can put your College Program address on it
