Here’s the scenario. Someone from another state purchases a condo in Florida. Are they eligible for a Florida resident AP? I’m unsure of what the requirements are and haven’t been able to find them.
Thank you!

You need some form of Florida ID (driver licence, state ID card, military ID with a FL residence address).

Or photo ID plus a recent bank, utility or mortgage statement with a FL address.

The WDW website lists the requirements.

And the neat thing about having a condo nearby is that you can store all your sandwich stuff there to make your bag lunches so you don't have to spend any extra money while you're in the parks...

Q: What proof of residence will I need to provide to purchase a Florida Resident ticket or annual pass?
A:To purchase or use a Florida Resident ticket or annual pass, you must be a Florida resident.

Florida residents age 18 or older must provide proof of residency at a Florida address. You may provide any of the following IDs:

  • Valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address)
  • Valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
  • Valid Florida-based military ID
For your convenience, Florida residents with an ID listed above can verify their residency online, which means you can bypass Guest Relations and go straight to the parks! Simply fill out the Florida Resident Validation form upon check-out.

If you do not have one of the IDs indicated above, then you must provide one of the following—dated within the past 2 months—evidencing proof of residency at a Florida address, along with a corresponding picture ID (passport, driver's license, state identification card). P.O. Boxes and private/personal mailbox services are not accepted as proof of residency.

  • Current mortgage statement (deeds, mortgage contracts, mortgage payment booklets and leases are not accepted)
  • Current homeowner’s insurance policy or bill
  • Current automobile registration, insurance policy or bill
  • Current utility bill (power/phone/cable/water)
  • Mail from financial institutions, including, checking, savings or investment account statements
  • Mail from federal, state, county or city government agencies
Documents printed from electronic versions are accepted, along with documents provided via phones and tablet devices.

Additional members of the same household must provide proof of the same residential address. Florida residents under the age of 18 are not required to show proof of residency provided the adult purchasing the ticket or annual pass is a Florida resident with valid proof of residency.

Disney reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without notice or liability, to require additional proof of residency at any time, to cancel a ticket or annual pass, to refuse admittance to any person, or to take any other action it deems appropriate if it concludes a document is not valid, it otherwise suspects fraud or for any other reason
