I read on another site that flordia only has 9 hours of day light in june. what time does the sun rise and set in june? I wanted to know what time in the evening it starts to get dark. thank you

Actually I have specifics.

From the weather channel.com, the Sunrise in mid June is at 6:27 and the sunset is at 8:24. Of course the first of the month is just a minute or so earlier sunset and the later you go the later it gets. It only moves slightly during the month, so , hope that gives you the info you needed.

With daylight savings time begining Sunday, April 4th, daylight hours will increase by 1 hour that day and continue to increase slowly into June. Our arrival date, May 8, the sunrise will be approx. 6:00 a.m and sunset approx 8:00 p.m. Currently, they are 6:54 a.m. and 6:24 p.m., respectively.

I think that what they were trying to say that 14 hours of daylight in Florida is only enough time to do 9 hours of activities at WDW (lines and such).
