Floating Electrical Pageant

We saw it last August, entirely accidentally - we just happened to be waiting at the MK for a ferry back to the TTC when it began. We've also seen it from the observation decks at the Contemporary several times. It's one of our family's not-to-be-missed attractions!:)

You can get a good view from any of the Monorail resort Beaches.

We always watch it from the dock at the Contemporary Resort.

I think you can see it from The Wildernes Lodge as well.

We watch it every time we go...it never changes but we Love it:lol:

I used to love seeing it on the beach at Fort Wilderness as a kid. And I always remember backin the 70s before we started staying on property, i would always look for the sea serpent from my monorail window as we left MK at night. So incredibly corny but you got to love it.

Thanks to those who responded so far.

"The Unofficial Guide" to WDW suggests the end of the pier by the Polynesian. Anybody watch it from there?

If it's on, I'll make every attempt to see it this time for the first time.

I have...and it's GREAT!!

It's a little loud because you're so close...and expect noisy little children all around you screaming and running...it get's crowded sometimes at the end of the pier.

It's just as nice from the beach and it's less crowded thus a little more private and comfy-cozy. :animwink:

well, it has been the same for the last seven years while we've gone, anyway. Yes, it's cheesy, but lovable. (Just like me!) We were lucky enough to have a lagoon view at the Poly last year, and we watched it from our back porch. There is a beach and sidewalk running along the water, and there were many people lined up there to watch.

It was at Poly at nine every night when we stayed there (Dec 2001) It was really loud, you could hear it loud and clear from inside our room (even woke up the baby one night.) I liked to wacth it from the beach at poly (on a hammock), along with the fireworks from MK (back when they were at 9:00 also, oh those were the days)

I think they updated it in the 80's or so since they added the "walk the dinosour song" and I think some little merrmaid music, but I could be wrong. My husband remembers wachting it from FW when he was a kid.

She should be a Disney commercial!

Why thank you, lynnkatherine. My, you seem like a wonderful person. Not that I'm looking, but do you have a son who might be single?

Watching it from a hammock sounds like heaven, Disney PhD. Better than being subjected to the screaming kids running around on the pier that Scooter described.

But, since I've got a couple noisy little guys of my own, I don't think I'll be relaxing in a hammock anytime soon. The least I can do is make sure nobody else on the beach is relaxing either!

No...but I have a married son that would be PERFECT for you!

(Please, everyone...Mouse Madness is my wonderful daughter-in-law! And that gorgeous baby is my youngest Granddaughter!)

As a watercraft CM, and I'm proud to say that we are the ones that run this show every night, my experience is the the beach at the Fort Wilderness Campground is the best place to watch this show because of the space, if you go there expect the "performance" to be around 9:45-9:55 every night.
