Has anyone shown up at AK right at early entry time (10-15 min before at the most) and gone straight over to FOP, and if so about how long was the line at that time?

Never, you'd be the first.
There are cars waiting every morning prior to the parking lots opening. Bus service starts in most cases two hours prior to park opening (thats also for early entry).
Theres always a crowd at the tapstiles waiting for admission, then you have the early entry gauntlet to the left hand side where they check for hotel stay. Then cast members will walk the crowd to FOP's entry where you'll get to wind through the queue prior to your Ikran flight. Its all crowd dependent. We've done it where we got a couple of rides in before normal park opening, and some with just one.

Yes we did this an our AK days. The line up of guests waiting to enter the area grows and once the pack is led to the release area its a steady flow of guests into the attraction. FoP remains a priority of guest drawing them to the attraction. Your ability to beat the crowds and ride it are better earlier than later. Our wait times still ranged from 10 to 20 min. As opposed to when we got to the park later in the day the wait line extended all the way back into the park and was well over 120 min.
Good to know, thanks! As long as it’s about 20 min at rope drop (without having to show up for rope drop like an hour early) I think we can work with that!

Yes I have a couple of times and it varied. Once it was pretty much a walk on. The other time we ended up in line quite far outside. It ended up being probably a 20 minute wait. I guess it depends on how many people are doing the same thing.
I would like to add that after many years going to WDW my wife and are are really good at "slinking" through the crowd and getting ahead of many people.

I'm also a fan of hitting it as one of the last rides, crowds at AK diminish quite a bit as the day goes on.

Plan on staying to park closing and hitting it late… And then it will not be a walk on.
