FLE pouring concrete walkways already?

I wonder why there is no transition between the two terrains.

If you look at the transition there is a small area the separates the old FL concrete from the new stuff. The edge of the newly poured concrete has a very uneven line that hey make look like a prestressed crack and continue there new theme.

I took aerials today, but I haven't had a chance to look at them on the computer yet, but I think we will be able to see the transition from the shots. Check back in a few hours.

Look at the pics that Steve posted of the new concrete. The first pic shows good detail of the transition between the two surfaces.

The flying was good. It was a little bumpy, but I think I got some good shots.

I am guessing that the old concrete will eventuall be replaced to match the new.

Right. They'll move the walls and replace other pavement in phases. When they remove Dumbo, they'll likely re-pave that entire area.

Right, they formed the new concrete with jagged joints so that there isn't an obvious joint when they pour each section. This new pavement will likely be carried throughout the area - or at least from FL back to Circus Land.
