Ok, I am going to the Flame Tree BBQ at Animal Kingdom on my next visit to WDW. Should I have the chicken or ribs? Which one is better in your opinion and why.

i got the ckichen and loved it because i saw the ribs and im very pickey about ribs, they have to be perfect, i just thought they looked a little too fatty for my taste.

The pork sandwich is great. The baked beans and corn on the cob are also great side items. Very underrated place to eat.

Chicken or ribs? Go for the hybrid Big Ribbed Bird

Actually the pic is of the ribs I ordered and the leg of the chicken that Mother had.

Make your mind up on the day and go with what takes your fancy at the time. Either is good.

I would go for the pork sandwich too. And for dessert a piece of key lime pie. yummy I can't wait in 53 days I'll be closer to eating them myself. :sohappy:

On a bit of a side note, wannab@dis have you ever eaten at The Firehouse resturant in Johnson City? Very similar taste to the Flame Tree, IMO. Sorry for the localized thread drift.

Mmmmmm....Flame Tree pork barbecue sandwich with corn.....mmmmmmm

LOL, that's what I always have anyway, although both the chicken and the ribs look good as well.

dxwwf3, thanks for the tip! Even though it wasn't directed towards me, I may have to try out The Firehouse since I'm always looking for good barbecue (and I live close enough to Johnson City to find it!).
