Flagpole missing from Town Square

Was it missing or was it in front of Guest Relations in its secondary location?

On a flag pole?

Yes. Now they don't have to have the ceremonies surrounding raising and lowering. They don't have to pay someone to polish the top of the pole, and they reduce their flag budget considerably.

When I was at MK on Monday evening, it is moved over into it's normal holiday season location in front of City Hall along with the Roy & Minnie Bench. It typically doesn't head over there until parade taping weekend and then stays there until the tree comes down. I wonder if this means the tree is going up earlier than in recent years this season.

Interesting. As someone who likes the photograph down main street without the flagpole I'm glad to have a whole month this way vs. just parade taping weekend. It is a little odd to move it so early this year though.

Just saw on the entertainment schedule that the Flag Retreat Ceremony is returning this Saturday. It will be back in it's original spot by then.

Just a joke, though they could use a tabernacle on the pole.
