First Visit!

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help. We're going to Disney in May for first time. Kids are 5,3,2 and 6 months and super excited, as are we!
I saw online queues to meet Anna and Elsa can be about 5 hours, which is v long!
What's the best way to plan this part of trip? People have mentioned breakfast in park, which would be closest one? Checked fast passes on Disney experience but so far totally full. Does anyone know what time this opens for next day in UK time.
Any help would be much appreciated! X

Exciting news, your first trip to WDW!

The Anna & Elsa meet-and-greet is by far the most difficult FP+ to get.

Obviously, waiting in line for hours is tough for anyone, never mind very young children. There will be loads for you and your family to do; don't waste your time in the Anna & Elsa Standby line.

If your kids really want this, then prepare them for the idea that it's not available for your trip. However, without them knowing, do as @Disvillain63 suggests and keep checking several times a day for an opening. Again, be discreet, don't let the children know you are doing this. If you happen to get lucky and get a FP+, then they will be super-excited. If you don't (the more likely scenario), then at least they won't be too disappointed if you mentally prepare them beforehand.

Good luck! :)

With the trip planned so close, there really isn't much you can do. As others have mentioned, check in on the app several times a day looking for a cancelled Fastpass, but with a party the size of yours - I wouldn't bet on it. The same with breakfast reservations, I just don't see them opening up at least early enough for your family to eat and get out in time.

You last hope will be arriving early for rope drop, standing at one of the entrances (you wont be able to see the show) and safely walking to the princess hall and get in line early.

I hope it works out for you!

Thanks all for your help.
Tried dining reservations but no luck! Will keep checking and also try being there for rope drop to see how that works out.
So much to learn about Disney! I'm sure kids will be delighted whatever they do!

Wihtout FP+, you are left to follow the herds at opening. Other than that, wait in line for hours. Get there at rope drop, follow the herds to the left side (right side goes to 7DMT). Easier to wait in a 20-30 minutes at opening when they are super excited and can be easily entertained.

For me, I prefer the herds going to those 2 lines. The reason is the lines for everything else are short and we can do almost all of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland while people hit Anna & Else, 7DMT, then Peter Pan. In that 2 hours, the lines for everything else is very short. Then off to Adventureland and Frontierland to hit those.
