Universal Pictures has released the first TV spot for The Thing and you can watch it using the player below!

A prequel to the 1982 John Carpenter film, the Matthijs van Heijningen-directed thriller stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Edgerton, Jonathan Lloyd Walker and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and hits theaters on October 14th.

NOT. A. REMAKE. :brick: Says right in the article, it's a prequel. Sorry, it just really bothers me because then people lump this film into the "reboot cash-grab" stereotype.

As a big fan of the John Carpenter version, I have high expectations for this. Can't wait.
