my wife and I will be traveling to Disney Oct 19-27 with out 3 children (boy-4yrs old and girls-twins 15 months at time of travel) as well as with my parents. This will be our first trip with our children and I want to make sure that it is perfect for them. I was wondering which restaurants should we make sure to make ADR's for? Our 180 days start in 6 days so I wanted to make sure that I have all of my Donald Ducks in a row :)

Well it's got to be a character meal..Breakfast or lunch..I would start checking reviews and making your choice..Ive never done one so I can't advise, but that's all part of the fun,the planning..Maybe someone will give you a recommendation.;)

We always enjoy park fare at the grand Floridian. It's also nice to take the monorail over and see the resort. Plus the characters are great.

Coral reef is another that we booked for our trip in July that the kids will be excited for because of the fish.

We booked our trip around our kids as well. So the other ones you might want to check out are crystal palace, sci-fi dine inn, 50's prime time, and t-Rex cafe. Think kids would enjoy these places.

Character meal wise I would recommend:
Crystal Palace in MK
Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in AK
1900 Park Fare at GF is fun
Garden Grill at Epcot
Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary
Mix key's Backyard BBQ

They may enjoy Sonny Eclipse at Cosmic Rays Starkight Cafe.

Lets see... some of the major ones 'I' personally attended are:
Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House in AK
1900 Park Fare at GF
Crystal Palace in MK
Ohana Breakfast at Poly

Now... Crystal Palace Breakfast/Dinner is expensive, and the food variety is lacking, for the price, in my personal opinion.
Breakfast in general... do Tusker House. It is one our entire family does EVERY TIME WE GO! :)
Ohana Breakfast is also fun, and its especially nice because it gives you characters you don't see often (Lilo and Stitch), 1900 Park Fare is also the same way(Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins).

Supper wise however, the only one I've attended was Crystal Palace and I already stated my opinion on that. But Breakfast is the one character meals I have attended the most.

Crystal Palace for Pooh and Friends.
