I usually walk down the hill and take the skyway back up.True, but there's still no way to totally avoid going up or down hills if you really want to see everything.

I remembered the lowest part of the zoo being in the middle, with the skyway basically at ground level (especially the station near the entrance).I usually walk down the hill and take the skyway back up.
You mean the Black Cube of Saturn? How about the Discovery Science Center. That is close by to Disneyland. It's all interactive science exhibits for little kids. They have a cool dinosaur dig area.
For the price you paid there isn't any excuse for the shower not working correctly. I would complain. This isn't a motel 6 in Garden Grove. Everything should look perfect and the service should be a high quality. When I travel, I look at the hotel as just a place to sleep since you are in the park most of the day. There is a convenience of the hotel near the park but actually some non-Disney hotels are actually closer. Some of the hotels outside of the park are newer, closer, better maintained and cost less. It is one of those things you learn about Disneyland after going once. It's not like Florida were you are trapped. We liked our room. There was only one issue, though. The water in the faucet and in the shower could not maintain a constant temperature. The water temperature when I took a shower varied WILDLY! You could be scalding hot one minute and then arctic cold the next. The temperature fluctuated more than it should. I don't know if their pumps are not working or are not powerful enough (we were on the 14th, or 13th floor), but this was rather strange problem for a deluxe hotel.
You have great tastes. Lovely ornaments.I mentioned early in the trip that we visited CompanyD and did quite a bit of shopping. I showed a few pics, including a bunch of wrapped ornaments. As promised, here are the ornaments that we bought. These were all 50% off the list price.
First up is a very cute ornament from Jungle Cruise.

It was a good haul, especially considering that this was at the beginning of our trip, and they were all heavily discounted.

A few pictures of the new DVC Tower at the Disneyland hotel. It was right next to Frontier Tower, which was where we stayed. Obviously, it was still under construction, and while we were there, they were testing the fire alarm systems a few times.

Hopefully, with the completion of this tower, we will have a better chance at getting a room at a Disney resort out there. This might make us visit Disneyland more often than once every 17 years!

No, I think they were both open because I remember kids were lining up to get on it.Were the monorail slides and children's splash pad mini slides closed when you went?
