First Trip To Disneyland Resort Since 2006!!

At the height of the afternoon heat, we have retreated back to our hotel room.
It was a fun day exploring outside of the parks. It was a good visit to the Disneyland Hotel just to get our bearings before tomorrow.
One rather puzzling fact is connected to the new DVC tower. We met a DVC rep there, hoping to see if we could get a tour of a model villa. Much to our surprise, they do not have a model room to show anywhere. They are building a preview center in the new tower, but that won't be open till the building itself is completed.
This is rather odd. Typically, DVC would have someplace to show interested parties model rooms of what they are going to sell before the resort is completed. But obviously, not in this case. So I was a bit disappointed not having the chance to see the new rooms here in person.
We are going to chill out for a few hours before going back to DDD for the evening. We want to see all the lighting effects that our magicband+ can do that were not obvious during the day.

It was another good shopping excursion, especially with all the DVC discounts.

We are back in our room after a pleasant evening in DDD. We are packing up for our hotel transfer tomorrow to the Disneyland Hotel. Everything will fit, but I'd better not buy a whole lot more or I may need to buy another bag.
We will also be returning our rental car after we drop off our bags, so there will be a few things to do before we head into Disneyland itself. Will be a busy morning.
